I'm willing to admit that I don't really have much experience as far as 'finding myself trapped with a small group of individuals on a planet somewhere in the multiverse, possibly not quite in the realm of the living, waiting to be devoured by world eating alien creatures while ALSO doing a enactment of the Blair Witch Project mixed with Robinson Crusoe.'
Which is... my way of asking: what do we do next? I know, I know, not everyone's going to want to work together, as much as I'm pretty sure that'd make this easier, but... What worked for you?

You should probably know that my experience might not be that helpful in this situation. I led our group and its what got me killed.

[ is the first message, sent after a slight delay. it's followed by another delay because for as much as they're apparently all dead, it's still not something he's entirely comfortable with talking about quite so cavalierly when it's literally anyone that isn't himself, when it's not simply an abstract 'oh and supposedly, we died.' ]
I know I might sound pretty ...optimistically naïve at times, but I promise you, I know how bad it can get. I know what happens when people disagree, even about stupid, ridiculous things. What happens when they disagree when they're stressed and they're tired, and it's about something they feel deeply about.
I don't know that we'll be able to help everyone, but ... it's worth a shot, right? The alternative is something I really don't want to consider.

Boredom is the worst. People do dumb things when they're bored. Having some structure will help especially with the darkness. I was thinking about what that Doctor said. Alarms might help to regulate people but having a sense of purpose will probably help more. We did group meals and work rosters. They rotated so nobody got stuck with a crappy job.
We had a group called The Guard. They were in charge of protecting the town. Trying to keep law and order. They had to guard the food stores so that people didn't raid it.
We had to take all the guns but I doubt that would go down well with most of the people I've seen here.
Basically we had to look at everything like it was a finite resource. Things can change really fast and if they do it can only get a lot worse.

The thing with a group like -- The Guard is that it creates a power imbalance, and I don't know how well that'd sit here. Outside of weapons, we've got people with powers and abilities that ordinary humans don't have a shot against. Runs the risk of breeding resentment, I guess. You saw how Quentin's request for a list or register of superpowered individuals went, right?

Robin said something about not being able to stop them, but implied that she normally has influence over them.
Which means they've got a degree of independence - they've got their own language, they have their own likes and dislikes but they're not completely autonomous.
